What is “Apna Kangra App” and “Apna Kangra Hamper”?
CM Jai Ram Thakur launches app to promote local handicrafts through tourism in Kangra.
“Apna Kangra App” would provide a unique experience for the tourists who plans to explore various destinations in Kangra. This App would empower rural women and provide job opportunities to youth through tourism, while facilitating hospitality services such as Hotels, Homestays and transport to travelers.
“Apna Kangra Hamper” This is a product handcrafted by self-help groups.
Benefits:
It would provide a unique experience for tourists on the one hand, on the other it will serve as an e-marketing platform for SHG products from the district.
It would empower the rural women .
It would provide job opportunities to youth through tourism.
