January 2020 : 

• SURAJ KUND MELA : The theme State was Himachal Pradesh of 34th Suraj Kund mela held at Faridabad Haryana.
• The state plan has been proposed Rs. 7900 crore for upcoming financial year 2020-21. ( With 11% increase).
• Anil kumar Khachi appointed as new chief secretary of the State.
• Shrikant Baldi appointed as first chairman of RERA ( Real estate regulatory authority)
• Kangana Ranaut (Bollywood actress) & Prof. Abhiraj Rajinder Mishra(Ex. Prof. HPU)  got Padma Shri Award.

 

 February 2020 :

• Ninth National Winter carnival started in Manali .
• 15th Finance commission has recommended the annual grant of Rs. 11,431 crore for the upcoming financial year. (Chairman of 15th finance commission : N.k Singh).
• A total of 17.2 % increase in Hp tax revenue till 31st january 2020

 

March 2020 :

• Ashish chaudhary a boxing player has qualified for the olympics. He belongs to Sundernagar of Mandi distt.
• "History of Himachal Pradesh" written by K.R.Bharti.
• Central govt. has sanctioned one battalion of NDRF for the state.
• Social security pension would be increased from Rs.850 to Rs. 1000 for widow & disabled persons.
• CM presents Rs. 49,131 crore budget fiscal year 2020-21 

APRIL 2020

• World Bank approved Rs 585 cr for Himachal Pradesh State Roads Transformation Project

MAY 2020:

• Rs. 584 Cr. has been approved for the maintenance of the roads.
• HPSDMA -COVID19 FUND : 20.16 Cr. fund has been raised so far.(30th april 2020).
• World Bank has been approved 585 cr. for Himachal Pradesh. ( Hq : Washington DC)
• Tap water facility for every household by August 2022: Mahender Singh                                IPH Minister.
• A programme named 'NIGAH' launched to sensitize people.
• Governor Bandaru Dattatraya released the book " Saja Nahi, Bachav Hai Quarantine' written by Om Parkash Bhurettta.
• OYSTER(DHINGRI) Mushroom to add to the economy of tribal's of SPITI.
• Ayush University to be set up in Chamba distt.
• CM launches " Mukhya mantri 1-Bhigha scheme" for strengthening rural economy.

JUNE 2020 :

        .   Panchvati Yojana launched

The Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur recently launched the Panchvati Yojana for senior citizens in the rural areas of the state around.

• Retd. P.S Rana appointed as Chairman State Human Rights Commission.
• Retd. IAS Ajay Bhandari became member of H.P State Human Rights Commission.
• Himachal Pradesh got e-Panchayat Award 2020
• WORLD BANK approves $500 mn education project for six states. The project, Strengthening Teaching-Learning and Results for States Program (STARS ), will be implemented through the Samagra Shiksha Abhiyan, the flagship central scheme, in Himachal Pradesh, Kerala, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Odisha and Rajasthan.

JULY 2020 :

• Nadaun Police Stationof Himachal Pradesh declared as one of the best in India.
• HIMACHAL PRADESH Received Rs. 326.20 Cr funds from Central Govt. to provide tap connections to all rural households by AUGUST 2022. ( Centre + state share = 371 cr)
• Governor Bandaru Dattatreya administered the oath of office and secrecy to the Ministers at a ceremony, which was restricted to a small gathering, at the Raj Bhawan in Shimla.Sukh Ram Chaudhary, MLA from Paonta Sahib, Rakesh Pathania, MLA from Nurpur, and Rajinder Garg, MLA from Ghumarwin, took oath as Cabinet Minister.
• Suresh Kumar Kashyap appointed as Himachal Pradesh BJP chief.
